I wonder what happened to the supposed "greatest player in the world" during crunchtime? I don't know where he was, but Kobe dished out 2 big assists during that time.

Yeh he disappeared in the 4th. He was scoreless. :o

One of the most exciting regular season games I have ever watched. I was much more emotional than usual. I was 100% focused the entire time. I love how Pau played in the 4th. This is truly one of the most awesome feelings in the world. I just hope we continue to play great like we have the past 2 games.

To put imprints on a game doesn't mean you have to score.
Kobe was just as effective in the fourth if he was scoring those buckets instead of Pau.

I think he knows you are talking about wheelchair, but the meaning is that, one dun need to score to help the team. But apparently Wheelchair is really a non-factor in the 4th qtr of this game. For the celtics of course.

Yeh but come on it's Paul Pierce. Why would I want to say anything nice or positive about a Celtic? :P

I'm still here.

He played good in the finals minutes, but he was still garbage for 3+ quarters. Gasol is still soft.

Merry Christmas!

C'mon Nissan, don't be a Gasol hater ;)

Gasol sucked big time for 3 quarters, then he just played a monster 3 minutes left on the 4th, and this is a huge step for him and the lakers, it seemed that he got over the hump and expect a more physical Gasol, he knows he has to throw it down, and forget about those layups, this is huge for the team.

the reverse dunk always scares me when your showboating at the end. It will bit him in the [expletive] someday. The big play was Kobe committing the non-shooting foul. Celtics make that, they are still in the game

pau played good in "kobe time"...and the bottom line is he was a key Laker in this victory...Nissan is a hater...soft isnt the right word to describr Pau, you say he got "punked" by KG, but it was KG,Perkins,Powe,PJ,Posey, and Big Baby vs. Pau, LO, and Ronny(for 4 minutes a game)...so physically they wore Pau out, look at the length and girth they had that year...anyway Pau has showed me a lot, he fought through a bad shooting night, Lamamr played well, Ariza played well, sasha was big, my boy LUKE is getting more comfortable in his new role, and Bynum played tough despite popo's hatred
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

Totally agree, yesterday's game was a huge indication of what boston wants to do with Gasol, and that's get into his mind that's its going to be tough, both KG and Perkins took cheapshots at Gasol in a lot of plays, and that woke up Gasol in the best time of the game for the lakers worst time for the Craptics, I predict a huge blow out on the warriors and they are going on a huge streak, this has to be a huge boost for them.

who else thinks the celts will lose tonight?
i do obviously, but the way they respond in this warrior game will tell me a lot about how good they are

Whatever you say... that's why he got punked by KG and Celtics for most of the game today, and he chocked last year in the finals.

Yes , Nissan , if what you say. The Spaniards Lakers fans, we also want to you. Whenever Lakers lost, is by Gasol. ¿3 minutes good? indeed, he has 17'5 points and 9 rebounds per game, thanks to 3 good minutes per game.

I have always been a Lakers (I have 40 years) before Gasol and will remain a Lakers after Gasol, but nobody can say that Lakers, is worse team that before Gasol arrived in LA.
