I believe we'll sign Pargo. But it will have to be until after the 1st.

When do you guys feel the Lakers make a move ?

most likely after the holidays, imo because everyone is busy spending time with fams and if there is a "trade" there will be a lot of paperwork to do, but if its just a free agent pickup, it could be anytime soon

Well, during the game today, it was said that Phil Jackson was letting Ariza and Vujacic play the guard positions to "audition" on who's the better candidate to receive Farmar's minutes, and if they have to sign another PG.

Eric Gordon : )

Actually, Marburry has said that he knows where he's going already, and that people will be suprised. Hmmm...

Would be great to get Felton. I've always liked his game, and it seems Charlotte doesn't use him correctly at the SG spot.

i know that they will pick up someone because phil said he wasnt worried about fisher's minutes, meaning that he wont be playing them for too long
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

Yeah that's totally correct. We need someone with GOOD defense, who can stop dribble penetration from the opposing team's point guard. Even though he's not on the table, it would be pretty freaking sweet to land Baron Davis as our PG.

You mean "if" they make a move?

The Lakers didn't gamble or tinker too much when they were a lottery team. Having one of the most talented rosters in the league probably doesn't inspire too much motivation, anxiety or angst and likely is a source of never-ending patience.

It's not Mitch that's on the hot-seat. It's Phil and the coaching staff.

Don't expect a move...that way, if one materializes, you will be pleasantly surprised. If a move is made (not likely), we will get the meaty end of the stick, for sure. I was getting the "let's make a deal" vibe a few weeks back. For some reason, those hairs aren't standing on end anymore...

Agreed. Lakers' management is in much less of a panic mode than the fans. In fact, I think Philip is loving the idea of playing big guards to be honest. No deal unless we don't give up anything. After the last two games, my guess is that they're in no rush to deal Lamar either. Perhaps a little birdie said something to him.

To me, ken and gcmd(two guys whos opinions I mostly agree with), the lakers will make a move, but it will be more of a DJ MBENGA type of move, no trades, unless someone is begging to make us considerably stronger, but a small free agent acquisition...but time will obviously tell
