This show was pretty funny at first but it seems like the more and more the show continues, the characters begin to feel more and more stupid.

The first and maybe 2nd seasons of Spongebob were great. I think at some point the original creator left the show to work on the movie or something like that and the quality took a major hit. At first it was a smart cartoon, the humor wasn't them standing around going 'duh' and doing dumb things. It was Spongebob on a quest to deliver a pizza, Spongebob ripping his pants in hilarious ways, Plankton and Spongebob singing the F.U.N. Song and so forth, it was great. I have the first season on DVD and that's all I'll get, the show has the occasional laugh now, but it's not the same type of humor at all. Just watch the episode where he applies for the job at the Krusty Krab to see what I mean. When he's making the patties for all those anchovies at the end, running across the condiment dispensers to that ridiculous song, that was just fantastic.

This show used to be really good and smart
Now the show is unimaginative, too whiney, and overall just sooooo bad especially in comparison with the first 2 or so seasons
