GO AFTER EARL WATSON, he dosen't really fit behind Westbrook, and could be very easy to get. His style works in the triangle, and is a good fit for the second unit

Just so you know, this isn't a terrible injury. It's just annoying and can lead to much worse things if not treated properly. He should recover fully, no problem.

Phil is hoping for post All-Star break return for Jordy:

Phil Jackson said: “The doctor may say 4-to-6 (weeks), 6-to-8. Reasonably, in my mind’s eye, I’m saying, ‘Hey, the All-Star Game is somewhere around six weeks, seven weeks. There’s a break in there. Hopefully, that would be great if he could be back by that time.”

Jackson said he planned to discuss the possibility Friday with Mitch Kupchak of adding a small guard to the roster. Jackson would rather not have to use Sun Yue, who is being trained to be a lead guard but isn’t physically designed to defend small guards anyway.

Jordan Farmar reported feeling little pain from his surgically-repaired left knee and did not rule out a return by the All-Star break in mid-February. Here are a few other tidbits from his conversation with reporters today after practice:

"It feels good, really good. There's not a lot of pain. I just need to get my quad strong and my muscles firing again. I just need to get back on the court and get working on some stuff again.

"I'll probably get into a pool next week. I'll probably do some cardio work in the pool. Once it gets strong again and I get my full range of motion back, then I can go back on the court and start doing some stuff.

"Being away from basketball is the hardest part. This is the third day I've been back to the facility. I've been at home trying to keep the swelling down. I've been in here at 7 a.m. working on it."

He can definitely take his time. We're not missing a beat whatsoever without him.
