With 5:15 left in the game, Farmar, who had 12 points on five-for-eight shooting, left because of an injury.

did the espn or kcal or miami feeds mention anything about this?

UPDATE:

From CL

Torn lateral meniscus:

Reporting from Orlando -- Lakers guard Jordan Farmar sustained a torn lateral meniscus in his left knee in the fourth quarter of Friday's game against the Miami Heat.

The third-year guard will return to Los Angeles on Sunday and be examined by a team doctor on Monday, at which point an update will be issued.

One more update

Lakers guard Jordan Farmar will miss at least three games with a torn lateral meniscus in his left knee. He is headed to Los Angeles where he will undergo further testing on Monday.

If Farmar needs surgery he could be out for months. While he is out, expect Sasha Vujacic to pick up extra playing time. Lamar Odom could also spend more time in the backcourt with the second unit.

According to AM570's Matt Money Smith, Farmar will need arthroscopic surgery and be out 4-6 weeks.

Yes, ESPN did talk about his injury during the game.

He got injured when the stole the ball and made a layup.

well our bad play is becoming a trend, isn't it? but no need to hate on farmar, his intensity has improved loads since his talk with PJ.

no kidding. i've posed the question after the last four or five games about how this team has such a good record. it's obviously something to worry about... and i'm still waiting to see a full game of this thing the experts call "defense", but that's ABSOLUTELY no reason to e-lambaste a dude like Farmar. A dude that gives it his all every night... especially in an injury thread.

I saw his face in pain after that play. Didn't anyone of you catch that?

He got slightly hurt vs the Bucks a few weeks back and that was effecting him from getting length on his shot and when he slashed to the lane.
