The Lakers will go with a 3 big man rotation next season. Odom, Gasol, and Bynum.

1) He knows the triangle so you dont have to worry bringing in someone new.
2) Even though his offensive game is limited, his defense will be much needed to come out of the west and possibly the finals
sign him for 2.5 million and that is that
bring back sasha and the Lakers are ready

Bringing Kwame Brown back would be the best fit in my opinion.

Heck yeah, I agree dude. Although I'd sign Mbenga for really cheap if we can't get Kwame ;p

Mbenga, maybe...
Kwame, another possibility.
Out of the 3, Mbenga is the cheapest. Kwame is the best man defender. Mihm is...tall (and under contract).
Phil picks Kwame.
Buss picks Mbenga.
Mitch awaits further instructions...

what about Brian Skinner?
Good defender...not much else.
How much time do we spend getting him up to speed on the triangle?
How will that affect the bench?
Those things aren't big deals when you have enough depth but if we don't bring Mbenga back, our frontcourt depth (mainly C) will consist of Bynum...and Pau.
Ouch!
Skinner would be pretty darn important pretty quick...can we win in that situation? Maybe...maybe not.
Kwame and Mbenga (I think Mihm's done) should be top of the list because of ease of transition. New faces aren't immediately worth it unless they have offense that is easily inserted into the triangle...
IE, Kurt Thomas and his money mid-range J. (Also one heck of a post defender)
If we're talking BAE or vet min, no harm, no foul. Part of the MLE (>1/3) should give the FO pause...lots of pause.

I'm BAAACCCKKKKK!!!
