Does anyone trade Sasha for Raja Bell?

Larry Brown is very high on him...we would have to give up something more Valuable than Sasha to acquire

but straight up I'd do it in a heartbeat

Interesting. Probably not. Too much of a risk in terms of team chemistry, especially with Farmar struggling. Their salaries are the same, except that Sasha's has one more year on his. Defensively, I'm not sure that Bell is that much of an upgrade. Interesting though.

Bell would be a huge upgrade defensively over Sasha.

I'd do it if it worked and the Bobcats went for it - without hesitation.

Just the thought of having Ariza and Bell on the floor at the same time is certainly something i would like to see.

Exactly, he still brings shooting so you don't lose that, defense and athleticism.

Radmanovic for Bell and Singletary works financially (although I highly doubt if Jordan is that bad a GM to do this).

PG - Fisher / Farmar / Singletary
SG - Bryant / Bell / Vujacic / Yue
SF - Walton / Ariza
PF - Gasol / Odom / Powell
C - Bynum / Mihm / Mbenga

It wouldn't suck.

first things first...Raja needs to get clotheslined by Kobe in their first practice

If so, then do we see more of Kobe at the 3? Or does Kobe play some pg with Raja in the lineup? Or both? You'd want to give Raja at least 20 minutes per game. It's intriguing.

Since Raja is the one who knew how to do it successfully I think Raja should teach all the other lakers how to do it. Remember the Suns won that series. Raja could be our Rick Fox.

You all do realize that Raja Bell is a shell of the player he was, right? We wouldn't be getting the Raja Bell from 3 years ago.

The shell of Raja Bell would still be a defensive upgrade.

We could use some toughness that Raja Bell would provide, but I think Sasha just needs some more time to adjust to his new role and hope that Philip has Kobe out there on the court with him more often, which he seems to be doing the last couple of games.

Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

Sign Marbury when he's released for the minimum.
