Ocarina Of Time

I think Nintendo was always the king of all video game companies. OOT is a prime example of it. No game today really stands up to it imo because the dungeons are so well crafted and the game makes you think - pushes you to the edge, only for you to solve the next puzzle. It's very engaging and fun at the same time.
The story is also great, the music is arguably better. I really enjoy re-playing this game after all these years and I believe OOT is one of the greatest games ever made. I appreciate that much more today than I ever have. I'm having a blast playing through it, in fact.
For those who remember it or have recently played through it - what do you guys think about this game?

As for RPGs, my favorite still has to be Final Fantasy III on the NES and Chrono Trigger on the Super NES, Final Fantasy VII coming in close third.

If you have a wii throw down the $10 bucks on the virtual console and play it.I never got into any Zelda game after A Link The Past, which I think is the best RPG I've ever played.
On the flip side, I need to download ALTTP (which I've never played).
I believe OOT is one of the greatest games ever. When the Wii first came out, I loved Twighlight Princess. It really payed homage to OOT, but ultimately, I felt like the game was more of a chore. Playing through OOT again, however, it is just flat out fun in every corner. I seriously love this game and my fav. system was the 64. It had the best games which took you hours to complete and games were much more thought out than today's generation imo.

No, I wish it was though. I don't think the DS could handle it actually...Don't have a Wii or 64 anymore. Is it on the DS?
They also released a version for the gamecube if you have one of those.
Seriously though, the Wii is quickly becoming my favorite system: Mario Galaxy, Brawl, No More Heroes, VC games like OOT!

I actually got Majora's mask before I got OoT and beat it easily. But then I got Ocarina of time and was completely. When you stuck inside the whale(as a kid), It took me forever. After I beat it, it took me forever to beat the Water Temple. I mean, I gave up at one point. Then I picked it back up months later and realized what i had to do and thought "how did I miss that?" After I beat the Water Temple, I easily beat the rest of the game.
The music is definitely my favorite of any game. And definitely the zombies scare the crap out of me, I would stay away from them at all times.

I see faith in your eyes
never you hear the discouraging lies
broken is the promise, betrayal
the healing hand held back by deepened nail
follow the god that failed
