If he averages 25 points per game for the rest of the year (60 games) he's gonna finish at little over 24,000 points
if he can average the same amount for the next 3 years and post 2000 points per yea he'll reach 30,000 in another 3 years

Well why don't we do the math? Kobe currently has 22166. So he needs 7,834 points to reach 30000. 60 games left in the season, and we'll assume that he'll stay at roughly 24 ppg. So by the end of the year, he'll have approximately 23606. 6394 left. Let's assume he's in the league for 5 more years. 6394/5 equals approximately 1279 points he'll have to score per season. And just for the heck of it, I'll factor in some injury time while I'm at it and say he'll play about 65 games each of those seasons. 1279/65 is about 20 ppg. As long as he plays for 5 more years, playing an average of 65 games per year with an average of 20 ppg, then he'll get 30000. It looks very possible.21st in all-time scoring...
P.S. Do you guys think that Kobe could make 30 000+ points in his career ?

Damn near impossible. Took him like 10 years just to reach 20,000.so is 40,000 possible barring major injuries? and if he plays till 38-40?

he has around 3-4 years of good play left in him.
If MJ could score 40 at the age of 40 I really don't see why Kobe can't
Realistically I give Kobe another 6-7 yearsof quality basketball.
Even though he is 30 years old and has been balling in the NBA for 13 years I seriously think his PRIME is still to come.
YEAH I said it, Kobe hasn't even PRIMED yet.
MJ's prime was around 32-34 years old.
SO will be Kobes
