Castillo was passed his prime. the castillo that fought chico is not the same castillo that fought hatton.

and hatton is severely overrated especially by the Brits.

i understand that...my point is, how can he get WHOOPED in 4 rounds by a 'scrub'? he's fought 3 times after Hatton...he's fought other scrubs...he KOd two of them....yet hatton, a scrub according to you and nissan, sonned him?

dude has 50 fights, 2 of his losses were at the hands of p4p kings and all of a sudden the guy is a scrub...

for someone that i considered a level-headed fight fan, i must say i expected more from you

how he couldnt last 4 rounds with an overrated scrub?

LOL....you two are funny....im not saying hatton is a top 10 p4p fighter but to call him an overrated scrub is downright retarded....true story

Manny beat a washed up DLH way past his prime and an overrated boxer who has no defense.

i get what your saying. the main reason i bash/call him a scrub is becuase all the british fans on boxing forums that glorify him as an ATG/p4p/hof. nothing but flame wars and [expletive]. and now that manny ko'ed his [expletive] the hype train can finally end. basically me calling him a scrub was just my way of channeling my anger toward the brits. newsflash homey: the Oscar that floyd fought, the one that he had a SPLIT decision against, was also washed up

and that overrated boxer with no defense, went to floyd's weight class and lasted 10 rounds....that's 10 rounds of tryin to land a check hook

as for marquez, again: scoreboard.....his biggest claim to p4p status is two NON-wins against his daddy

i hear ya spooky...he wasnt cracking my top 10 skillwise either but to call the dude a scrub was not cool...he was the lineal champ at 140....he beat Kostya who beat julio cesar chavez....he might not be ray robinson, but he aint a peter mcneely either

Lol it was a split decision and manny won the rest

Manny only lost in his early years to Rustico Torrecampo a filipino Boxer, Erick Morales, and Medgoen Singsurat from thailand

Def not top 10 skillwise in my book either.
Hatton is more like a poor mans juan diaz in terms of style.
but yea like i said earlier i called him a scrub becuse of all the hype he was getting by the britts on nsb just to shut them up.

Wow a lot of Pac haters out here... Pacquiao is the best right now. Stop saying Hatton was garbage. Pacquiao was just that good. Bring on Mayweather to prove them wrong... for like the 100th time.

I felt really bad for Hatton though. That punch was like a shotgun that left him out. He was out immediately and couldn't even put his arms in front of him to break his fall. Scary sight.

good ish spooky...im on boxingscene EVERY day..i had like a million e-points wagered on the fight last night...i cared about that more than the real-life $400 i put down..LOL!!!

but yea, im glad ended it in that fashion.....noone can say squat...his fans have got to be the most annoying, racist, and persistent basturds i've ever run into....

but THE worst, are the Flomos....those dudes, for all the years that ive been on message boards are THE biggest Stans in all of sports fandom....they all think they're related to floyd and defend him like fam...and the logic that they use, good lord....as a boxing purist, i can NOT stand the 'woulda, shoulda, coulda' mantra that floyd fans live off of

Reporting in from MGM. What a great day. Having to hear Brits scream out their Hatton fight song all damn day was worth it after seeing them silenced by Pacquiao. Although the Brits were all nice folks, they were also pretty damn cocky. It is a good time to be filipino right now, but it's 100000000x better to be filipino here in Vegas. The camaraderie among the filipinos and other Pacquiao fans is just amazing. And you feel a huge sense of pride and respect just walking through the casino.

Pre-fight I saw Antonio Tarver and Bobby Pacquiao.
After the fight, I saw Jinky (his wife), Freddie Roach, Martin Nievera (the dude who sang the Nat'l anthem).
Today was probably the worst possible time to forget my camera...

I remember over a year ago back when Pacquiao last fought Barrera, saw Freddie Roach just walking through the lobby and no one else turned their heads except me and my bro, and we got a pic with him. Tonight, he was followed by a huge mob of folks wanting to get pictures and just shake his hand.

:dance1:

But I can't believe you forgot to bring your camera, lol. :(

Manny is a fighter, but people need to calm down. :nah:

Hey man let me tell you something like really we Filipinos in this forum we take pride in our country and we really have nothing to idolize but Manny because he represents us of course were gonna get all crazy cause this is basically our only moment of glory so yeah gotta get use to people not being calm and being hype when pacman wins.

I heard that if Floyd does come back he would have to fight Juan Manuel Marquez first, honestly, I think Marquez would win that battle (he's the ONLY fighter that gave Manny problems), especially since he's been gone for so long .... I would like to see that fight and then see Marquez/Pacquiao 3
