I don't think a fight will ever match the energy from this fight. It is was amazing. You had the insanely loud, hooligan-esque british fans and you have the die-hard proud filipino fans. Other fights might make more money, but as far as the crowd is concerned, in this fight it was a notch above all the rest. I still get goosebumps just thinking about it.

:lol: There was sweet silence among the Brits. It was seriously an awesome feeling after having to put up with their "hatton wonderland" literally all day everywhere in the hotel. They were even chanting during the Philippine national anthem which annoyed me. I could barely hear the guy sing. I really didn't pay too much attention to them though after the knockout, I was too busy screaming, going crazy, and high-fiving all the pacquiao fans around me. Once they got past the shock though, all of them started up again with Hatton wonderland, but this time around our manny chants overpowered them. They kept chanting even as we exited the arena. The brits I talked to afterwards though gave their props and respect to the Pacman though. One guy gave his UK flag to my brother (possibly out of shame).

Nice daco! Wow, watching it on TV with Filipino Crew was crazy!! I just wonder what it was like being there and having British fans and Filipino fans clash!!! Must've been a great experience.

For some reason this sad thought came to me.... I will be so sad the day Manny retires... He still has a lot in him but I was just thinking about it. He gave us many memories and joy and I don't want that to end.

It was amazing clashing with the British fans, but it was all in good fun. It was intense, but there was no hostility between the two groups AFAIK.

I got to shake Freddie Roach's hand which was really cool. He was walking through the main lobby a couple hours after the fight. The guy is a superstar. Jinkee (pacquiao's wife) was also walking through the lobby (and she has a really cute friend with her). Saw a guy holding Pacquiao's robe in the lobby and thought about jacking it ...
