So, does this make the Angels the Miami Heat of the MLB?

Not even close.

Its gonna be interesting to see how Kendry Morales performs and where they put him. I still think the Angels need another bat. Torii Hunter and Trumbo isnt enough.

I'm not expecting anything from Kendrys. Angels might end cutting him loose.

Trumbo I want at 3rd. I will take his growing pains as long as he continues to produce at the plate.

If Kendrys is back slot him at DH.

Screw Abreu.

After losing out on every free agent the past several offseasons, Angels finally land the big one! Now their next move should be to try and trade all their dead weight

LOL.

They already got rid of Mathis.

Hope everyone has been able to either attend or catch some spring training games on TV. Aybar, Howie, and Pujols have all played extremely well. Morales has played great as well with his limited at-bats.

I need to watch a game. I love going to see the Angels play. The atmosphere is always terrific and people are friendly. Fire works every friday. We angel fans are really spoiled. I was happy with Arte even before the major signings.

Torii triggered his home alarm system and police arrived with their guns drawn, which is normal when this occurs and someone is in the house. They escorted him to where his ID was and showed them he lived there. Not really a big story, but Torii tried to be funny on twitter and accidentally made it seem like it was racial profiling so it became an issue.

Hope everyone can attend Opening Day. Cost me $500 for a pair of tickets so this game better be good!

was pretty damn good for a 4th starter. my only complaint was the walks.

Anyone know about some incident that occurred with Torii Hunter?

Some political hacks tried to make it racial but Tori didn't view it that way. He said.

Hunter later tweeted about the incident, writing, "I'm not upset that the cops did their job today. I'm actually glad they were protecting home.

"The cops that were here today had their guns drawn but pointed downward in for safety. Those guys handled the situation like trained cops."

In a text to MLB.com, Hunter said, "I'm good. They didn't know if I was a burglar. Just a misunderstanding.

"They did what they had to do," Hunter added
"The way Steve is as a teammate, the way he sets the tone, the way the team kind of takes on his persona. As a coach, that's the best thing in the world. It's easy to coach. He's taking care of the chemistry. You just coach."

Walks have been his Achilles' heel the past couple of years. He seems to be cutting down on them though. He dropped from 93 walks to 74 last year.
