More needs to be done then just signing Tex. I think Abreau would be a great sign. All the experts keep saying he'll come relatively cheap. Fuentes seems like he'll command a good amount of money, so I don't know about him. I think a middle relief guy is a more pressing need and more likely cheaper.

Kendry Morales and Erick Aybar are tearing up the Domincan league while Brandon Wood played horrible and got cut. Morales has a .411avg with 8 hrs in only 24 games and Aybar is batting .351 with 5 hrs i think Wood is just another Dallas Mcpherson a triple A star who can't cut it in the bigs it's highly time to trade Wood.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed by what Wood showed with the big club last year. Padres are reportedly interested in him. Pair up Wood and either Adenhart or Weaver and see if the Padres will do that for Peavy.

Reagins even asked for a package with both Peavy/Gonzalez but Padres declined, imagine if they had caved to that deal.

I would jump up and down with joy. That would open up a lot of other possibilities.

Another Angel fan here checking in! The past season's postseason was so disappointing. 100+ win season was for nothing. I hope Texeira signs the contract deal we offered him.

I would love to have Ramirez, but I really think he'll re-sign with the Boys in Blue. If he does sign with us, Bud Selig might as well gift-wrap our World Series title next season. ;)

True that, but I guess the Angels have a different outlook and gameplan.

Manram is also close to a decade older then Tiexiera and has the defensive skills of a t-ball player. He's also one bad play away from acting like he did before he got traded from Boston. Think about how Scioscia would flip out if he trotted down the line on a groundball like he did in Boston.

Who gives a damn about the Manny being Manny... the dude puts up numbers and the angels need him. He would make Vladdy soo much better.

He only puts up numbers when he wants to. He could decide he doesn't care anymore at the flip of a switch. Look at what he did in Boston before he got traded.

I don't hate the Dodgers but Chargers yes!!
I think we are most likely getting Peavy but we need a power hitter more.
