This is the same [expletive] as last year. How the hell can you start off so poorly? No one is being patient at the plate. Hamilton swings at ANYTHING

^ Looks like you expected wrong.
1-3 now while Texas is 3-1.
Pujols & Hamilton hitless today.
Pujols batting 071 so far, Hamilton 062.
Making Trumbo at 188 look like a stud.
We'll see what happens. We were in this game till the end. Richards was rolling then elevated one pitch to beltre. That's all it takes.
Downs I knew would give up something. Texas blooped us to death. Not to mention Alberto with his stupid base running ahead of trout's double. That would've made it 3-1.
I not going to get carried away. We just got to get better, relax a little.

^ Who are you more disappointed in so far? Pujols or Hamilton?
What do you expect Trumbo to bat this season? He's been in a Matt Kemp-like slump dating back to like the second-half of last season imo.
Hamilton. Albert looks like he's playing thru something (foot) and it shows. Josh has been striking out too much, had a few problems in RF.
Mark is in a funk. no doubt. He doesn't seem comfortable at the plate. Always looks like he's up there guessing. I'm not ready to throw him out, he's a work in progress. I expect an average in the low to mid .200's with little less production. I hope he can turn things around and get that discipline back.

^ Looks like it. Even stupider if so right?

Homerun tommy hanson takes the hill today.

ARLINGTON, Texas_ Katie Hamilton, the wife of Los Angeles Angels right fielder Josh Hamilton, was forced to call stadium security because of the fan abuse Friday during the Texas Rangers' home opener.
Katie Hamilton and the kids remained in their seats the entire game, Josh Hamilton said, with two security guards present during the entire game. There were no ejections, the Rangers said
HAMILTON: Greeted with chorus of boos, Ks
"She had to call security just because people were getting ugly,'' Josh Hamilton said. "It's cool to get ragged on about normal things, but when you get a little swearing and jawing back at Katie, and saying inappropriate things, it's a little different story.
"They were saying personal stuff, stuff that was inappropriate with kids around. It's a good lesson for the kids, just about people in general ,and not putting faith in them, but the man upstairs.''

Security won't be an issue for Saturday's game, the Rangers said, with plans to provide a suite for the Hamilton family.

^ Indeed. Breakout game for Albert. Not only did he go 2-2 with two homers, but three walks as well. Perfect. Everyone across the board seems to be doing at least average so far except Josh. Still waiting on him ala Matt Kemp...
Also, encouraging game from Trumbo. Great to see.

Weaver, the Angels’ ace right-hander, will be out 4 to 6 weeks after suffering a broken left (non-pitching) elbow, major-league sources say.
“It’s pretty painful,” Weaver told reporters. “It feels like a really bad jam. I definitely hyperextended it or something.”
