His voice isn't fading. There are only a couple of players that have been here 4+ years. The issue is his inability to adjust to the players we have now. He's using the same philosophy that he used when he first arrived. He no longer has the players to play that type of ball. Until he figures that out the Angels won't succeed, which is why I want him gone.

Dipoto is Scioscia's worst nightmare. He's part of this new wave of baseball minds that use sabermetrics. He isn't going to provide Scioscia with slap hitting midgets.

Just about sums it up.

Well in a sense, voice fading and philosophy not working can be very similar. A coach for 10 + years using the same philosophy when he first arrived may fall on deaf ears with the players today. My point is that its very reasonable to believe he has just been the manager for too long and its time for a change.

Heads won't roll. dipoto has said the coaching staff will be back next year. Moreno has said sosh would be back.

I've never said no changes would be made. Changes are always made.

Dipoto did say they'd be back as did Moreno, but like I said when it comes to exit interviews with players, if it comes out that the players feel the manager is not doing a good job, changes can be made because of that. It happens all the time in every sport and every level.

Texas losing to the A's right now...If they lose, they will lose the division and will have to play in a one-game elimination series...Boy, would I LOVE to see them eliminated in a wild card game.

Wow those As are ridiculous. They must've watched that movie 'Moneyball' not too long ago cause something certainly lit a fire under their asses/inspired them.

I don't care if the scrubs are in this game, it's disgusting. At least make an effort.

I felt guilty for not watching, turned it back on to watch enright burn the mother down.

Bitter season to swallow.

Would be a great option, also wish Maddon was a target he's done so well with so little $$ in Tampa and after Rodney's terrible stay in Anaheim he had one of the greatest closer seasons under Maddon.

^ Good so we agree on both fronts, but as far as Maddon, he's just not going anywhere man. Don't see it anytime soon. He's made that franchise relevant ever since he went there when it never was before.

I didn't want to post during the game because I didn't want to jinx the game, but yeah, I'm pleased by this outcome.

Chin up Ranger fans, at least you weren't one strike away again.

Leading the division almost the whole year, gets you ONE playoff game. shouldn't have tanked all those games down the stretch.

Epic collapse.

That teams gonna look a lot different next year.

Baseball America is smart.

We know he's the best if you consider BOTH offense and defense.

Albert had knee surgery? Figures. Hope the surgery fixes his plate discipline and slow starts.
