Angels don't want to match the offer the Nats made, we can only hope he takes lesser deal and stays with us. If they don't get 2 all star type players this offseason its a total fail since we lost 2.

We don't have to keep Tex. Obviously it would be great if we did, but I don't think we will suck if we don't. There are plenty of other viable options out there. And if we do lose him, I'm guessing Reigans and Arte won't exactly sit on their hands. And I want Tex back, but I will understand if he doesn't and be fine with it.
As far as K-Rod goes, thanks for the memories, enjoy the fickle New York fans.
I would love to get Peavy. I hope the teams are able to get that done.

It sounds like Axelrod & Peavy are exhausted and ready to just go to a team where he's wanted.
The Cubs blew this one. Dude has 4 years left at less than 16/per, which is a bargain for a #1 stud these days. These d-bags overspent for Zambrano last year and Dempster this year.

As for the Angels, add Peavy to this staff, and I'm not sure Tex is a necessity.

Naw dude, Independent films are those black and white hippy movies. They’re always about gay cowboys eating pudding.

3 years for $30 million. So I guess Burrell is absolutely not going back to Philly. So if we don't get plan A (Tiexiera), is it Plan C (Burrell or Dunn)?

I've heard rumors about getting Garrett Atkins from Colorado, Adrian Beltre from Seattle, or even Mike Lowell from Boston. I even read one yesterday about trading for Carlos Delgaldo.
