We know Pau is better than Bynum in all ways (and people continues prefering Bynum over Pau...). But in this last week, with Lakers being pathetic (even Kobe, admit that), Pau has been the best man of Lakers (at least for me).

Look the loss against Kings: Kobe failed. Bynum failed. Odom failed. Vudjavic failed. Ariza failed. In other hand Pau was awesome, Kings had a lot of difficults stopping him, and he did 27 points and 12 rebounds.

I´m not saying the entire season until now, I´m saying the last days (last 2 weeks as extreme). Is only me, or is Pau being the Man of Lakers?

Yea, Pau's been giving it his all and leaving results out there. He's as aggressive as I've seen him this year.

Team MVP for the first quarter of the season and its not even close. Kobe has been great most games, but Pau's been a rock.

Agreed, he's been the most consistent through out this far into the season. And hopefully will make the all-star team.

Offensively he has been pretty reliable

Defensively, he's still the same old Gasol

Same was said about Tony Parker, but Tim Duncan is the man in San Antonio. Parker benefits greatly from the attention Duncan gets in the lane. Gasol benefits from Kobe's double-teams. It's in the same ballpark.

The past few games. Pau is being the best Laker on this team. Usually he's been the most consistent player on the offensive end and has been solid on the defensive side.

kobe allows pau to have these numbers, b/c he didnt score this well with him being THE MAN in memphis
but Pau has been absolutely consistent the entire season, but his shots have been easy shots for the most part.
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

After seeing how Pau Gasol did in last night's game, he is pretty much by far the one player who gives it his all, compared to the rest of the team...thouugh I've got thoughts on Fisher too.

^ he was being guarded by 1st and second year players, oh yea and Brad...it wasnt that hard to have those numbers...they didnt impact the game result...not hating, but stating

And Kobe refuses to drive the ball during his mediocre shooting nights
-_-

Pau is easily our most efficient and consistent player this year.
