Source: Horry has said he’d like to remain with the Spurs. If the organization decides to move on, however, he said he’d like to return to Los Angeles or to Houston, where he began his career.

Love to have him back but were a run and gun team now. Not sure if he'll be able to catch up. Thoughts?

Hmm...The Lakers went 37-11 in games that Pau Gasol played in over the season and into the postseason. From the first game in New Jersey to Game 6 of the Finals. I'll keep Pau. If we had Bynum during that stretch, I seriously think that they could have gone 44-4 (Realistically, they're not going to win every game...Though it's possible next season...)

Nope, I wouldn't trade Pau Gasol. He was a gift from Memphis, it wouldn't be right to get rid of a gift :huh:

I'm sorry, but right at the moment, Robert Horry is not worth a roster spot. He's way past his prime, I'm sorry, but it's the truth. The only thing that will get him a spot on an NBA team at the moment is his reputation. If you go by actual skill, Horry has lost it completely. Why on earth would the guy want to keep playing Basketball when he's so bad?

kwame is better than horry is now
remember the way horry would crap up shots against the lakers in the playoffs
its okay to miss, but it aint okay to miss that badly

Kwame > Horry = Ultimate insult :(

I'd rather have....well, anything than Kwame Brown. Even though he would bring some cake back with him. Though that's not enough to earn him back a roster spot.

Mbenga would be a way better backup IMO

Exactly. He shouldn't expect to get more than 2-3mins playing time a game. He would be getting less minutes than Mbenga.

i think horry should retire with us, and definitely would sign him for this year for his farewell season...he is in the record books for most games in the playoffs and i think he should be associated with us!! he helped us a lot during our three-peat. if he were to play 2-3mins each game, that's not bad. we have many players who does not contribute for us anyway, and he may teach some of our guys down the road.

Pau's a perfect fit (something we don't know about Rip) and he has what it takes to help us win now. We don't give that up and mess with chemistry to go back to the 2010 plan.

I followed Horry back since he first came into the league and I was always a fan, but he's done.
