I've read the Nats really want a superstar. They want Tex because he's from Baltimore. If they don't him, supposedly they'll make a huge offer to Manny.

Some new news. The cubs are backing out of trading for Peavy. Reportedly the Angels will try and capitalize on the deal falling apart and have already put together a trade package.
Boston is apparently in the lead for the services of Tiexiera.
Whoever loses out on Tiexiera, they will try and sign Raul Ibanez.
