K-rod has officially signed with the Mets for three years, around $37 million. Pretty much the same offer from the Angels he turned down last year. LET THE ARREDANDO ERA BEGIN!!

Hopefully Jose will continue from his great rookie season, but i still don't trust Shields in the playoffs.

I don't trust Shields either. Some of the relievers they brought up from the minors at the end of last year looked pretty good. So hopefully Shields can be phased out. Might as well phase Speier out if he hasn't been already.

Coletti said he talked to Sabathia and that he wants to come to LA. The fans better hope he doesn't screw that up. I would think Coletti is one horrible move away from getting fired. Luckily for him Manny came up huge last year. As for the Angels, I have faith in Regans he will get things done. :towel:

Ehh whatever. I don't think many expected him to be back. Yes, he set the record for saves, but thats all many see.. the number. Most don't know that K-rod often struggles giving up walks and hits when he comes in. Overrated. We need to re/sign some big FAs. CC, Manny? Maybe. We should take Tex first though.

They're reporting CC is a yankee now. So it appears that Tex is the Angels top priority and Man-ram is the Doyers. In all honesty, even if the Angels don't sign Tex, I won't be upset because there are a lot of quality guys out in the free agency market.
