He's got great intangibles, resume, and he has excellent fundamentals. However, his lack of athleticism and strength are what's going to keep him achieving the same level of success he had in college to the NFL. He'll get beat by speed rushers all day if a team wants to play him at OT and his lack of strength (though not as important) will cost him some battles in the trenches at OG or C. I said he'd be average, he may even turn out better than that, but his skill set isn't that of a 1st round OL imo.What makes you think Barrett Jones will be average?
All of these teams are taking chances. He's a senior that's intelligent, versatile, and has good size. He's not that athletic and he as some injury concerns but I think he'll be a solid starter in the NFL.

I don't know about the rest of you but it SUCKS so much when the Packers lose in the playoffs because then you are like who cares who wins the superbowl, and the draft is so far away from now. (BUT WHATUSAID at least the blackhawks have been killing it this year!)
WhatUSaid I agree with your assessment of our needs, I think FB and K we can wait on, I am hoping that Crosby just had a bad year and he will bounce back. I think we should get a RB but only in the last few rounds, I want to see what Harris and Green and Starks can do throughout the year and stay healthy.
In the first round, I would love to see us get a linebacker, hopefully a inside linebacker, and I think most Packer fans forget that Desmond Bishop missed all of last year and he was a force, so maybe get someone to go next to him, because I agree Hawk sucks!
And then after that get someone on the DL and the offensive line.
It would be nice to see Thompson spend money on a big named free agent but he never does that lol
Blackhawks have been killin it.
It sucks bad when the season ends. The Packers are like family to me.
FB and K I'd look late and in the undrafted pool.
RB I feel like Harris deserves a legit shot to start. Green and Starks are expendable. If a stud drops I wouldn't complain if we took him.

I tend to agree with this. I think Hawk is either a camp roster cut or draft day trade. He makes way too much.Keep Finley, otherwise it'd be another hole to address on draft day. Hawk can go [expletive] himself.
Plus he isn't better than Bishop or Smith.

I think we keep Finley for the year, he was improving at the second half of the season. Sad about Woodson but he wasn't that good for us the past two years. Our defense gets younger/
A good note you could maybe make about this move is maybe we are storing money for Jennings, or even Clay, A-rod, or even Raji. And we have a lot of money for free agency, but you know Ted he won't do anything with the money
