Who Are The 3 Key Players On Our Team?

But...I think Kobe is the key ingredient to our success, he brings it every night no matter if his shot is off or on, he does what needs to be done to win.
I feel Andrew Bynum who leads our team in rebounds and block shots, is the key anchor to our Defense and who will hopefully lead us to a championship this season.
Lastly, Trevor Ariza, The guy is just a defensive beast, he is all over the court, he gives us so much every night that the stat sheet doesn't even cover.
Kobe, Bynum, Ariza what do you guys think?

I agree about Kobe and Pau...easy.
Ariza is a spark plug and a good player to have but he's not a "key" player. He makes the team better but so does Vlad and Sasha and Farmar.
If I had to choose, I'd go with fisher for now. What he contributed to this team last year was SO understated, even though he's not nearly as talented as some other people we have or could have gotten. He's the un-sung hero that held a rickety boat together last year until Pau showed up and gave us added stability.
So I'm going with Kobe, Pau and Fisher...
In 2 years, Bynum will EASILY be head and shoulders more important than Ariza...that's what my first statement was alluding to.

Kobe for obvious reasons, Gasol for his great post offense and passing, and Bynum for his inside presence defensively and offensively.

When he's asked why Kobe doesn't tweet, @thugraider37 said he offers this reply: "Does God tweet?"

There's just something about how Gasol plays that I just don't really like...

Wow. Gasol is really underrated on a Lakers site. Dude is pretty much our most consistent player. Always smooth.
Yeap. Until Bynum assert himself...actually I will still put him 4th, close to 3rd even if his D is rock solid.

That perimeter defense is going to keep our bigs from picking up too many fouls. Pay attention to the Suns. Once they lost Marion, they lost everything. They were destroyed by the Spurs, mainly because of SAS points in the paint. Shaq doesn't do jack for them compared to Marion's impact, as he defended the guards that Steve Nash would always get torched by.
Ariza is becoming a big deal. Sure, with Bynum, we are a 60-win team, but that's also with Ariza.

honestly i love pau as much as the next laker fan.. but he is extremely weak and extremely soft. i think all he has going is his jump shot.

Kobe is our best player/leader/most clutch player
Gasol is the key to our offense running smoothly. He creates open looks for guys inthe wing with his post play, and is able to set up guys from the post.
Bynum is our best rebounder, our best shot blocker, and our most important defender. If he plays top defense, our team plays top defense. Kobe, Ariza get to gamble and create turnovers without worrying about free layups, and people can't drive to the basket without worrying about getting rejected.
