I can't believe I'm hearing talk about how the games are boring now that the Lakers always seem to win. I can't disagree more. I still can't wait for the next game to be played. I don't care if we're sure to win. I'm enjoying the win, every single play, every basket. I watch the game with the biggest grin on my face. I haven't had this much fun at the start of the season in a long time. And for those of you who want the Lakers to maybe lose a few to make it more interesting or have them win by a basket to make it dramatic, forget you. I want to see the starters rest in the 4th quarter. I want to see the bench players get their minutes too. I'm not bored watching Mbenga or Powell come in.

This month, the team has 8 road games. I hope they win each game by as much as they can. And I hope on xmas day, they obliterate the leprechauns. Winning is never boring. I rather see how much we win by than to see if we won or not. Enjoy it while it lasts, once it's over you'll be wishing for "boring" wins again.

I actually look forward too teams that should give a fight now!!

Like "yea that going to be a good game!"

game rolls around

"Damn WTF?? thought it was going to be competitive."

can't blame the Lakers they just smashing its the other teams fault for not stepping up..

We haven't played Utah and SA... We will see some competitive games soon its the NBA man!!

We are not perfect...We did lose to Detroit. To give a little bit of reality here, the Lakers will lose again. Its not likely that we'll be an 81-1 team this year, although it would be nice to win as many as you can so that you can have home court through the playoffs. The fact is that we have played a lot of lower tier teams so far, and we have had mostly homecourt...I still believe that we'll get most of our road games though. Also, Boston is looking very good right now winning 9 straight and playing pretty damn well, so there's no reason to believe that every game will be a cake walk.

whats funny is losses hurt more when you are winning than when you are mediocre

you'd think it'd be the other way around knowing you need every win but when a teams rolling like this you forget what its like to lose and then boom that loss comes and it kills you

i remember 2 years ago it was how much can kobe score tonight now its so how many games can we win till we lose again and how long can we stay healthy for(hopefully all year and the playoffs develop some damn chemistry)

being healthy all year with the same line-ups night in and night out would make the team so intuned to each other we would be a machine by seasons end

(praises to God for health)

I heard it on the Voice if the Nation episode 17 last night...

Winning is not boring but it's even better when the other teams give us a fight. Just like the game vs Dallas last friday ;)

We did lose to Detroit.

Crazy hot that game they were, CRAZY hot, played the game of their lives. Not much we nor any team could do really, not even the Celts. They makin' mostly outside shot after outside shot consistently, what can' ya' do? Our luck was unfortunate that game. Tis all.

how can anyone be bored with winning? that's just madness! i haven't had as much fun watching a Laker team since the Shaq-Kobe days. the Lakers no longer just have the big 3 in Drew, Pau, and Kobe. i really think that this team now have the big 5, with 2 coming off the bench in Lamar and Trevor.

I did a search for both "bored" and "boring" in Lakers Talk and gametime discussion, and no where does anyone say they are bored with winning.

How is it boring?

Kobe, Lamar, Bynum, Pau, Ariza, Farmar...

These guys are exciting to watch...

The Lakers are boring now. I watched the end of the Pacers cuz someone told me with 2min left it was still close so I turned it on. That was exciting. Other than that, YAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWN. [expletive] winning by 30 every single game. ugh.
