I never got a chance to play the original but my god is this game amazing. I'm about 2 hours in and I must say it's starting to compare to my fav. game/RPG of all time - FF7.

DS owners, get it.

Was a game that I wanna get as it messes with time elements and I had no idea about the game prior, plus rave reviews about it...tested out on emu, it's great. Will get it soon.

I never played it before as im not big on rpg with that type of fighting system. However ive been playing it on the DS and ive liked it so far. I think im early into it. Im at the place were you first get to choose what time you want to go to. Not sure how long it is. Heard it has 13 possible endings though. I have the ability to use cheats on it not sure if I should. Might ruin the experience. Some of the battles are tough if you arent a high enough level.

Considered the G.O.A.T. by many, I'll definitely be playing this again.

i'm playing this on my DS now too

back in the snes days (and even now when i think about it) chrono trigger was/is definitely one of my favorite games.

its right up there with metal gear solid, call of duty 4, and the nba 2k series

edit* reply to airman, in my opinion, its better than golden sun.

What the point of playing on an emulator? Does this game incorporate the stylus?

The game is playable without using the Stylus. I didn't want to start playing on the emulator but figured that I see how the game was like, I didn't play the original.

Then my RPG genes kick in and started training madly and...can't stop...

Currently on my first playthrough on the last final boss....
