Hey,

I watched the Lakers before we got bynum and started watching again the game after Bynum got injured...

Even though Pau's natural position isnt Center, IMO he did VERY good, i know i can look up videos of Bynum on YouTube but we all know youtube videos dont mean anything...So is Bynum Better then Gasol At Center?

Will Gasol Do Better at PF?

Will Odom Do Better at SF?

Also, Is Bynum really a "10th NBA Draft Pick" in your eyes, my friend told me hes improved much since his draft and should be considered like a 5th pick or something.. what pick would he be worth if he was drafted right now?

Remember when we were killing teams by 20 w/ bynum

offensively pau can be more of a threat,

but defensively bynum easily

We will be even more dangerous when pau goes back to his natural position

Youtube videos don't mean anything?
It's visual proof of plays/highlights. Means something.

This is ridiculous. Pau at center with a healthy Bynum would be ludicrous. Pau is a finesse player with a distinct focus on scoring. While Andrew can score, you must be forgetting that he's BIG. he'll be able to clear space and grab boards much easier than Pau did. The Lakers lacked toughness down low in the playoffs. AB is the guy that can bring that.

Putting Pau at PF isn't going to slow down anything he's already doing. Gasol will do better at PF because he won't have the biggest opposition on him. His scoring should increase significantly.

The twin towers of Bynum and Pau have been touted as the force to reckoned with in the west. We're finally going to get see it.

Sure, Bynum only has a half-season of killer work under his belt, but regardless of his immediate scoring impact, he's going to come in with defense down low, rebounds, AND he's going to take a lot of the physical stress off Pau.

Pau isn't a true center. He's more suited to the PF position and I believe that he'll thrive playing alongside Andrew Bynum down low. IMO, Andrew is a better center because he is a true center unlike Pau Gasol.

Regarding Bynum's value after the Draft, he's the third best from that class (behind Chris Paul and Deron Williams).

Yeah, I see Bynum as a #3 pick right now.

Pau isn't physical enough to be a Center. He's a good emergency Center, but he would never be a top Center in this league. PF is the position for Pau, it suits him perfectly. Bynum is a much better Center than Pau because Bynum is very physical and can do the dirty work down low. Pau is more finesse, more of a scorer. All in all, Bynum is the better Center and Pau is the better Power Forward.

Pau is a PF, he doesn't have a body to be a center.
Bynum is a true center. I don't think there is much to discuss there....

This thread has to be a joke. The fact that Bynum is bigger and stronger and loaded with talent (although not necessarily more than Gasol) is enough reason to conclude that Bynum is a better center. All those times Gasol was hesitant to attack the basket and finish strong, Bynum won't have that problem. Bynum can attack and protect the basket better than Gasol can. @center, Bynum>Gasol (assuming Bynum is able to at least return to where he left off last season).

We can say Gasol at PF is better than Bynum
And Bynum is better at C than Gasol.
It shouldn't be a problem.

Dude Coby Karl is the best at the center position.

But seriously Andrew Bynum of course. His length will bother other centers and he can do things that Pau couldn't before. (that's not a knock off on Pau, just saying he's much better at PF than the C)

No. I think Pau currently is more polished offensively than Bynum, but Bynum is a true center. I think Pau's natural position is a Power Forward who can also play center a la Tim Duncan and Amare. And Bynum will be much better defensive anchor than Pau which was something that was sorely missed in the Finals.
