What I noticed is how he's learned to talk. He sounded so awkward in his interview and definitely sounded like a 17 year old. He's really matured.
I remember a lot of members at CL wanted Gerald Green. I wanted Hakim Warrick because I'm a Cuse fan. I also remember wanting Jarret Jack.

we all need to thank Kareem for Bynum's on the court development. Without Cap this kid is Diop
Not even close. You have to have something in order to apply what the cap teaches. Bynum was born with talent that diop doesn't have.

Not even close. You have to have something in order to apply what the cap teaches. Bynum was born with talent that diop doesn't have.
And if Kareem's teaching is falling on deaf ears it doesn't help either. You give credit to Bynum for wanting to be the best, for working hard on his own, in addition to learning from Kareem.

I wanted Jarrett Jack but I knew he wasn't worth the 10th pick. I remember we were going to trade for the Pacers #17 pick and I actually wanted him with that if we got it.

Didn't know who he was when we picked him...but glad we did =] =]
I remember where I was when I was watching this though, I was sitting in my grandmas living room with my dad (actually in Jersey, where Bynum is from).

One thing you can't develop or practice is height. Like Shaq keeps saying there will never be another big man like him. Too many combo big man i.e. KG or Stoudamire. If you have a chance to get a 7 footer with skill you have to go for it. There are exceptions to the rule, Sam Bowie, to name one. One thing I am concerned about is all these reports of him complaining about playing time. I'm glad he wants to be out on the court competing, but it makes him look like he's whining. Especially when the team is winning. He is a young guy, so he does get a pass, but being on a team with veterans like Kobe and LO who've modified their minutes to make the team better he should learn from there example. I'm sure the other veterans will sit him down and tell him to keep those comments in the locker room.
Can't wait to get a pair of these!
