I remember wanting Granger but was pleased with the Bynum pick.

And not that Granger is a scrub.

He's averaging 23.2 PTS, 5.5 REB, 2.5 Assists, 2 blk, 1 STEAL

Actually, Granger is highly of a Pippen mold and would have worked out wonderfully as well.
Gooden>> Lamar Odom. Mo Williams>> Ray Allen>> Gasol. Nene= Gasol.

I'm glad we got Bynum, he is a great player and the scary thing is that he is still developing.

I think it's a really huge risk to draft someone that young and someone that just come out of high school, but it really surprises me how quickly Bynum is developing and maturing.

It was really cool to see how excited Bynum was.

Its also really funny how you look at the poll's at the bottom of the draft coverage and the voters said the best PF would be Sean May.

we all need to thank Kareem for Bynum's on the court development. Without Cap this kid is Diop
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

What's even more funny? We nearly traded him for Jason Kidd or Jermaine O'Neal.

I remember wanting Granger.

When the Bynum pick was made I was like, "Wait, what?"

But after thinking, I was kind of excited about the prospect we may have on our hands.
