Biggest Chistmas Day Game Ever?

Last year's finalists, with the potential of each team playing close to .900 basketball?
This thing is on the backburner right now, I know, but it's only going to percolate more and more as the days go by.
I hope both teams keep winning, and this game becomes mega-huge. I can't wait to see LD2K's video for this one. Last year's Lakers-Suns video was great.

"The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences,
and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon,
for each day to have a new and different sun."

These teams will be considered close to finished products and neither has major injuries to key players.
This game scares the be-screezis out of me. Despite winning, we look ragged. Our defense that started out so stellar now looks undisciplined and frenetic. Neither Pau nor Bynum seems comfortable in their new positions, though Pau still seems like a perfect fit.
Kobe's shot-selection is not great but neither is Fisher's or Farmar's or Sasha's or Vlad's...that's going to get us into a lot of trouble.
We are still doughnut soft in the middle. Transition defense is poor to urine-poor. The offense is hit or miss, literally.
People are excited...they should be afraid if they are Lakers Fans.

I'm BAAACCCKKKKK!!!

I don't know who will be left standing at the end of the day. I think at the end of the game it may come down to the fact that the Lakers have Kobe and the Celtics don't. One thing is for sure, I'm not missing this one.

Hope we can come away with a win as a Lakers loss on Christmas day won't sit well with me.

short shorts?
Not this time. No need for anything like that to distract the team. Come out like you have every night prior and take care of business.

short shorts?
No WAI!
Anyway, this is gonna be a merry bloody christmas, I've themed it for as long as the schedule has been released.
Regarding the defense as of now, we just hopefully kink it out, get a few games going with the D and step it up on that day...bringing intensity that is even better than our starting 2 games.

Actually, it's going to be the most analyzed game of the year. The winner will be crowned future Champ and the pundits will use it as fuel for all other predictions.
These teams will be considered close to finished products and neither has major injuries to key players.

we have played bad twice this season every other game our defense has look unbelievable
didn't the celtics get blown out by some bottom feeder earlier this year
you are being pessemistic
bynum has looked phenomenal lately blocking shots, scoring, rebounding, passing
Gasol looks like gasol but with renewed defensive intensity playing against finesse PF's
kobe has shot lights out the past 2 games i dont worry about kobe ever except for health
fisher has looked rusty and old but he'll come around
vlad still looks stupid sometimes but hes been shooting sniper rifle lately
lamar has been absolutely terrific in his new role hes a shoe in for 13ppg 10rpg 4apg off the bench but has been shooting selectively but timely and making a great percentage
lamar was made for the bench he picks his spots now he was never known for on court awareness well now he can watch the game see where he can be effective and exeecute lamar has never played better in a laker uniform hes looked fluid, smart, effective
farmar, sasha need to pick it up and they will we have enough people to keep us winning while they get in the flow of things
ariza andrei kirilenko part 2 the guy has been filling up the stat sheet
i love it right now but we need to take it one game at a time and stay healthy
