Lakers come back from 23 down at start of the 4th. This was, at the time (and may still be), the 3rd largest 4th Qtr comeback in NBA history. The Lakers also staged the 2nd largest 4th Qtr comeback ever against the Mavs earlier that year.

BTW near th end Pau Gasol made a good drive to the rim, so it shows he has toughness in him.

Rush, Pargo did a good job leading the comeback and Mad dog had some nice offensive rebounds. I remember the Dallas one as well, that was crazy.

I actually remember exactly where I was when I watched this game - I was going crazy when Kobe nailed the game-winner.

Pau wished he was in the Lakers after Kobe made that shot.

I remember this game was tape delayed. I had soccer practice that day and didn't know it was tape delayed. But I got back home right in time to see that last shot by Kobe (on the tape delay) and my parents managed to convince me it was live.

This was the same season that we had an ill-fated comeback attempt against San Antonio in the play-offs. :badmood:
