Of course we're gonna loose once in a while like we just did to Detroit, but should Vladimir still be our starter at SF? His shot is so inconsistent, as is his impact on games, that I believe it's time to give Ariza a shot at starting. Unlike Vladi, Ariza actually showed up to play today. Maybe Vlad will also flourish on the 2nd unit much like Lamar has and this will bring out his strengths again. But on the starting unit, I just don't see it.

well, I think that Vlad's been having good solid starts the past few games. [with the exception of last night's game] I think that we should keep Vlad at the starting possision right now only because I like the energy and athleticism Ariza brings off the bench. I think that Farmar and Ariza are great off the bench & work very well with the 2nd unit.

I think if we take Radmanovic out of the starting line up, it's Sasha that has to replace him

Sasha is the best shooter on the team, a much better defender than Radman, better ball handler, better passer, smarter, and shows a lot more effort out there. Put him in at the 2, and slide Kobe to the 3.

I dont think that would work out. I know that Sasha is a great player but he still seems to be recovering from that ankle injury he sustained in preseason. I think we should keep radman as the stater because he plays decent defense and can have a good shot when everything is working on offense. You cant blame him for his bad shooting yesterday because everybody was shooting pretty horrible. No shot was going in and they all seemed to be lost out there on the court. I dont know. Vlad should start until something proves otherwise.

Vlad is better as a starter, with our starting lineup he spreads the floor with his shooting. I'd love to start Ariza, but he fits better with a different lineup.

We already have Fisher who can hit the 3 there's no way Vlad should be starting, his d is bad plus his shot is inconsistent.

Vlad is hardly the reason for our loss yesterday, and Ariza isn't a solution. Everyone had a bad game, even Kobe who had 20+ points. It's not about who is better. Ariza obviously is. It's just who fits in better with the starters and the bench. The bench is filled with high-energy guys who play fast-paced ball. Doubt Vlad could hang with them, but Ariza fits in perfectly. Plus Vlad's 3-pt shot, while it didn't fall yesterday, it's still respected by defenders. He will spread the floor, which gives more room to Bynum and Gasol to operate.

Heres why I think Vlad should be starting, he is a good shooter. Him and Fisher spread the floor out for Bynum and Gasol. And if either of them are doubled teamed, they could kick it out to vlad. Ariza is a slasher. If he were in the game with Pau and Andrew, the middle would be too congested.

He's ready to be a starter on many teams.

But he's best off the bench, just like somebody like Ginobili is best off the bench. We need his energy off the bench, and his hard nosed D off the bench. VladRad is best with the first unit because of the lack of 3pt shooting due to Bynum/Gasol out there.

In the 3rd unit, you have Odom at PF who can hit 3's, Sasha a 3pt specialist as well as Farmar, Ariza just fits this unit better.

No. Not yet. It was said before, Vlad's starts because of his perimeter threat. Well, that said, until he comes back consistent again, he can be a good perimeter defender. The thing is this, although he starts, his minutes have been low, allowing Ariza to shine more when the game is mid-way...Ariza is best suited off the bench, the bench is our energy start.

Think most of us would pretty much prefer Radman to hit the 3s over Ariza and Odom.

in all fairness to "vladi daddy", they have been focusing a lot on defense, and offense takes a backseat. i'm sure he'll find his stroke lakers

Let Vlad keep starting, he gets bench minutes anyway. Ariza is usually the one finishing and that's all that matters. I like the way the rotations are going right now, regardless of Vlad's inconsistency.

its like i said even before the loss yet everyone disagreed vlad is fooling you guys

playing solid defense doesn't excuse the fact that hes payed 5+ million a year to shoot the ball from 3 and hes not doing that well at all and the stupid i mean dumb decisions he makes repeatedly throughout the game

i can't count the amount of times when we are trying to make a comeback in any game and vlad simply runs up and chucks a 3

people were thinking he was good for this particular line-up but hes not that good a shooter and he has no clue what his role is on this team

he is the 5th option on our offense yet he'll sometimes just chuck up shots which is especially frustrating when we are making a run and he throws up a shot and the opposing team goes and fastbreaaks for a layup

happened at least 5 times a game in the finals
