No I don't know it. I'm not psychic. Apparently you are. I'm sure you didn't think Shaq would do well when traded to Phoenix last season. That was wrong. I'm sure you thought he wouldn't play well at all this year either. That was wrong.
For the millionth time, you don't know if we'll have that "lightning quick bench". Farmar and Ariza may be starting at that point and they are the spark that makes our bench "lightning quick". You have to be psychic to know who will be on that bench in 2 years and whether or not Shaq will fit in. YOU DON'T KNOW IF HE WILL FIT IN, PERIOD, THEREFORE YOUR WHOLE POINT IS MOOT. Whether or not he will, that decision will be left up to our front office.
Phil likes to have a bench that brings versatility and different styles (not completely drastic of the other) so while the first unit will most likely run the half court triangle offense the bench will most likely run and its painfully obvious either way Shaq isn't gonna fit in here. Period
isn't it pretty obvious I don't like shaq
but im willing to put some of that aside if a player helps us...for example karl malone in 2004. I didn't hate Malone but I just didn't like him when he was in utah. Taking a massive paycut and being like the 4th option to sign up here showed that he was committed to winning here.

Okay, for the millionth time, and please read this carefully, you have NOTHING to worry about. You say we shouldn't sign him because he won't fit. Well if the coaching staff and front office doesn't think he'll fit, THEY WON'T SIGN HIM. You say his ego will be a problem. If the coaching staff and front office thinks it'll be a problem, THEY WON'T SIGN HIM. You say he won't be producing in 2 years. If in two years, the coaching staff and front office thinks so, THEY WON'T SIGN HIM. You say having him on this team will hurt the team. Well if in two years, the front office, coaching staff, and players also think he'll hurt, THEY WON'T SIGN HIM. You say health may be a problem. If he isn't healthy, THEY WON'T SIGN HIM. If Phil has a problem with him on this team, then THEY WON'T SIGN HIM. If Buss has a problem with him on this team, then THEY WON'T SIGN HIM. IF THE OPPORTUNITY TO SIGN HIM COMES UP, ALL THESE CONCERNS WILL BE CONSIDERED. If they sign him, then they (not you, them, the actual people who will be handling Shaq) believe he will produce, that he will be healthy, that he will help this team. And that's the bottom line.Phil likes to have a bench that brings versatility and different styles (not completely drastic of the other) so while the first unit will most likely run the half court triangle offense the bench will most likely run and its painfully obvious either way Shaq isn't gonna fit in here. Period

And if Shaq does come, he will be taking a massive paycut and definitely won't be our top 5 options.

MDI, you just hate Shaq. Lol, Shaq messing up our offensive Rhythm. You saw how he messed up the triangle back in our 3-peat era by putting up 30 and 10 in the playoffs?
Stop living in the early 2000s. The reality is its not the same Shaq. Snap out of your lovefest for the fatty.
You wanna know how he messed up the rythm? look at how the Spurs tore the Suns apart last year. They couldn't get into any flow with all the stoppage due to the hack a shaq.

but these two are the biggest egoes in the game and with Phil's calm approach nothing will work. If we had more solid veterans on this team it would be a different story. This is a young baby face team we don't need this extra drama
Nothing would work?
Hello! We went to the finales 4 times with those 2 lol!
You just don't like Shaq stealing away Kobe's spotlight.

And the Suns had much better luck with the Spurs before Shaq? The Suns were two major chokes from going up 2-0 that series. How has Shaq's game changed since he was in LA? He plays the same way he used to, just not as dominant. His game translated well under Jackson.

The difference is that Shaq is playing about 40 games per year now. But I can agree he still has the same bad attitude he had in LA. He shoots free throws the same too.

How sad, Shaq won 3 titles with the Lakers and brought LA a dynasty. Yet Jerry Buss would NEVER bring him back. I'm all grown up, I don't hate Shaq. Shaq did it to himself. He can continue getting in fights in Phoenix and clotheslining PGs like Stuckey.
