Shaq back with the Lakers?

... No.
Shaq can make all the positive comments he wants towards the Los Angeles Lakers franchise, but there is absolutely no chance he ever dons the purple and gold again as long as Phil Jackson, Kobe Bryant and especially Jerry Buss are associated with the Lakers. The team is back on track and they seem to be doing very fine after ending the Shaq-Kobe era. There's no need whatsoever to re-open this chapter and bring Shaq back at a small contract to play back-up for Andrew Bynum. This is Shaquille O'Neal we're talking about.

And I see no idea why Buss wouldn't do it.

Doubt it'll happen, but it'd redeem a lot of Shaq BS if it did.

Yes Shaq still has something left but can you honestly see him here co-existing with Kobe and co. drama free?
Shaq's got a big mouth and with the media here anything can be taken out of context and next thing you know the feud will be back

With teams like Denver showing they can use small lineups to give us trouble, we need a versatile center who can run the floor in case a team puts out a small lineup. Shaq doesn't fit that at all.
I do believe he's still a top 10 center in the league easily. But that said, he's not what we need with Gasol and Bynum.

I do. He coexisted long enough to win 3 championships in a row and go to the finales 4 straight times.
People need to stop acting like the relationship was a disaster. That relationship PRODUCED.

we had solid veterans through those tough times man so when it was game time the feuds were put aside...other than Fish is there anyone here who can be a voice of reason and a calming presence to this young team?

Shaq himself does not rule out returning to the Lakers as a backup. That implies that he's willing to put all that aside if he decides to take this path. But Shaq has a massive massive massive ego lakerfool...how in the world is he gonna put that aside and accept a backup role with a team lead by KOBE

Shaq is bipolar
1 week after the NBA finals are over he raps "You can't do it without me" And now he's singing Kobe praise
Whatever comes out of shaq's big fat mouth is not concrete
