After seeing Kevin Durant win the ROY last season, going 20-62 OVER Al Horford who averaged a double double, who's team won 17 more games than Durant's.

O.J. Mayo will win Rookie of the Year this year. He will have the stats, like Durant had the stats last season. Plus O.J. Mayo with the help of Rudy Gay and that very young athletic team can win around 30 games.
Kobe Bryant for Finals MVP!

today its as followed rose, mayo, beasley, rudy , oden but we have over 70 games left.
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

after watching last nights game, and seeing a few games of rudy on NBA tv, i would have to give it to rose, he has more of an impact in the game (imo) than rudy, and from what ive seen more talent, not to say rudy isnt good, i like him a lot but rose can get to the rim like cp3 anytime he wants, rudy is a way better shooter though

Don't even waste your time explaining that to him... he's just upset because I keep owning him and he's mad I always say Gasol is soft.

I'm honestly disappointed in Rudy lately, he just hasn't even been looking to be that aggressive consistently like he was early on. Seriously, just saddens me. He's really fallen off lately even I admit.

Rose had by far his worst game of the year today and perhaps his only horrible game, so that in itself is actually very impressive. At this point in my book, he's still leading and OJ & Beasley are there as well. Rudy's fallen off unfortunately.

Good call, but the dude's BEEN ballin' for a while now.. fortunately I got the league pass and while the Bobcats aren't a very attractive team to watch, I've caught a few of their games and what I've seen from the youngster has been VERY impressive. I did not expect him to be this good whatsoever at the pro level and he can get better.

He could be in the race, but to win it, is a whole nother' story.

Rose

"The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences,
and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon,
for each day to have a new and different sun."

^ I think you're right that it's Rose's easily and it saddens me that something seems to be terribly wrong with Rudy lately. Either way, even when he was hot, I was just stirring up commotion just to give Rudy some props, but at the same time, I still have felt all the way along, no doubt about it, it's Rose's award to lose. Heck, he could even make the all star team imo as a rookie, Rose that is.

Mayo's good, but I see him too much as a chucker right now and I just don't see the same or as many 'special' qualities in him as I do in Rose.
