I believe this team can go over 70 wins as well.
Lakers over or under 65 wins

I'd like for them to beat the 72-10 Bulls record but if that's going to take too much out of them, I'd rather they clinch home-court throughout the playoffs and take it easy. Work on developing the defense and bring Farmar, Bynum and Ariza along (with Sasha in tow, of course).
This team has great potential but it won't be realized unless the starters (namely Kobe) can dominate defensively and just RUN-THE-OFFENSE!!!!
Keep the starters minutes down to low 30s (30-33 mpg) because of blowouts. Hit them in the mouth early. Let the 2nd unit build on that. Come back in and deliver the knockout punch EARLY in the 3rd. Get out of there by the start of the 4th.
Do that and the sky's the limit...including the 72-10 Bulls record. And I'm serious.

i say 70 games, without a doubt(if no major injuries occur)
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers
