A source close to Kobe Bryan'ts camp says that European clubs have reached out quietly to his representation and set baselines for a possible free-agent contract. Offers of $30 million a year in Greece and Italy promise to be on the table, and, says one associate, “I guarantee whatever happens that Kobe will take that whole European thing down to the wire before he re-signs with the Lakers.”

well if he goes, what can we do, i doubt he will go, he will look like a complete moron if he does because its ONLY for money and nothing else, while lebron takes his spotlight after, where if he stays here hes on the #1 contender for at least 3-5 years, and may be able to surpass jordan as the best ever

Yeah like Kobe is going to leave the Lakers when they have a chance to win multiple championships in the coming years.

alright i seriously think that kobe will stay with the lakers, but if the screw up any time this year and piss him off he is leaving. if the lakers do not win a championship this year then i believe that he will consider leaving the lakers. i mean he can get lots of money in the euro league and that he knows he will spotlight there too, i mean i know that ESPN will start showing some Euro games if kobe goes

Yeah I don't really see him taking this, but he'll hear them out because he's a polite guy. If Buss is willing to shell out the kind of dough he'll need then it's pretty safe to say Kobe's staying in LA. He's got a chance at multiple titles and a real shot at establishing his legacy aside from the Shaq years. If he caused havoc and threatened to leave LA because he didn't believe they were wanting to win right now, then he's not leaving for Europe even if it's for a top team, because the NBA is still the top stage for all of basketball in the world.
Ofcourse though, it is Kobe, and no-one will ever know with full certainty what he's going to do.
