Matt Holliday appears headed to the Oakland Athletics in a deal with the Colorado Rockies, baseball sources have told ESPN's Jerry Crasnick and Buster Olney.

Final details are being finalized, though the teams have agreed to terms, a baseball source told Olney. The source said the deal may not be finalized for up to 48 hours.

When's the last time the Dodgers won the series? The Angels only won one series.

The A's will start spending once they get the new Stadium in Fremont. They've been frugal due to their poor attendance which has a lot to do with the awful facility and location.

If they're not in contention, he'll be gone for prospects by the trading deadline.

We compete every year. A's have let way too many stars go. They keep Chavez and boom he's pretty much finished.

Chavez over Tejada was idiotic. Other than that, the A's scouts are top notch. Once the new stadium is built in Fremont, I expect them to finally keep their talent.
