Lakers star Kobe Bryant would like the opportunity to win another Olympic gold medal in London in 2012. "I'll be 34 years old," Bryant said during the Olympics. "If I'm good at 34 and they ask me to come back, I'll come back gladly." Asked how many members of the US team he expected to return in 2012, Bryant joked: "All of these young guys. They all got Similac on their breath still."

Not really news. He said the exact same thing immediately after the Olympics.

Yeah, we all knows he can and will do it. USAB have Kobe in his twilight years of the career will still be a huge asset.

I believe kobe will remind a Laker cause he has been here his whole career and he saw how Bret farve was like when he finally when to another team and saw how David Beckham didnt become the global super star like how they all said he was when he came to LA soo with all that said Kobe will retire as an Laker

He could do it but I doubt he'll be that much help for them. By then they will have LeBron, Wade, Dwight, Amare, Bosh, CP3 who will all will be better than ever.

none of those young players are guaranteed to wANT TO COMPETE AGAIN, PLUS kOBE WILL BE A MASCOT SORT OF LIKE j-KIDD WAS THIS YEAR. oops sorry about the caps
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers
