Our FO Suck. Wauw a full rebuild year next season and that for a laker organisation. We have to wait 2 full years when kobe gets out of his contract. But with this FO will we be champions again in lets say 5 years. They have a high sence in making the wrong decissions. Some people say it look like the Dodgers couple of years ago and i think they are right, its time for the whole FO to leave LA.

Good point. If plan B was a complete rebuild, that can't even be put into affect until 2016 cause of Kobe. Just terrible decisions all around.

Well if the team is terrible this year hopefully he retires.  Better for him to retire than to see him trying to fake it like Wade the last few years.

Dan Gilbert must be soooooooo pleased:

Cavs = Harlem Globetrotters

Lakers = Washington Generals

Am I right or am I right?

And are you not entertained?

What a complete [expletive]ing disaster of an offseason. Liked the Lin trade - which fell in our lap - but everything else have been complete [expletive].

At this point I have zero faith in Mitch as a GM, Jimbo as an owner or even Jeanie - the mastermind behind the Kobe deal.

We'll end up repeating last season - except we wont have a draft pick.

you know that's what I've been saying all along because it's top 5 protected, but this line-up is bad--like reallllllly bad.  There's no way Kobe carries this team without getting re-injured and pau's consistent offense will be gone.

this team has a better chance of being in the bottom five than it does making the playoffs if there are no more major moves coming...

Yikes.

Not happy so far. Another excruciating season of watching laker basketball awaits.

TWC should just show showtime and Kobe/Shaq years instead of this years team.

Bet they could increase veiwership that way.

That said, no one is more disappointed than the FO im guessing.

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health, 2. High Draft Pick (Randle!) 3. Miracle Trade (Not yet), 4. Quality Free Agent (Boozer, kind of), 5. Brilliant Coaching Hire (Byron!...but the jury is out)

Laker fans are spoiled rotten. Who here remembers the late 1970's or mid-1990's?

I do.

In 1978,we had Kareem but the Lakers only became great when we got Magic Johnson. Then before the Lakers won the championship in 2000, the last time they won it was in 1988. We were competitive until 1991 then Magic retired. 5 years of cheering for the likes of Threatt, Ceballos and Van Exel followed. We got Shaq and Kobe in 1996. Who would have thought Kobe would be the second coming of MJ. Still, the Lakers were early round fodder from 1996 to 1999. Alhough Phil brought us to the promised land 5 times in 10 years, in the middle of the two great runs from 05 to 07, we had to cheer for Smush and Kwame.

Yes, these will be lean years but the Lakers always come back. So stop whining and learn to take the good with the bad. Shut up and cheer for Swaggy or Kelly or Kendall. That's what real fans do.

The Lakers will be great again!

And Laker fans will always be spoiled rotten.

Maybe if we keep [expletive]in the FO will never try that Smush. Kwame Threat ISH again. We're not gonna take it ANYMORE. If we shut up we become the old Clippers or the Knicks for the last 20 years

I will still be cheering on the team regardless.

Maybe you should cheer for the Clippers until then, my fairweather friend.

Maybe you should stop trying to referee someone's fanship.

Not bad with Kobe's contract. This would have been tough for any GM
