Now that Pau has taken half of what we offered him and will play in Chi Town. How do we get a TRUE 5?? Not that many are out there but there is no way we are just going with Sacre and Hill. To me Hill is more of a 4. What now?? And by the way; who is going to be Randle's back-up?? Kelly?

Lakers should try to sign Birdman, he can give us defense and hustle down low, other 2 options could be Ed Davis former lottery pick and Jeff Adrien, a guy who can give us some energy coming from the bench.

Birdman re-signed with Miami earlier, but Ed Davis would be nice.

Chris Andersen -- the Birdman -- reaches agreement on a multi-year deal to return to the Miami Heat, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

if Trey Thompkins continues to play well I'd love to give him a pre-season invite and see about it for a bench spot. He'd likely cost the least amount as well.

6'11 245 pound bigs that can hit the shot inside and out, have a post game and are reliable passers don't grow on trees.  And he's 25.  If he pans out or continues ti play well, I say bring him into camp and see how he does.  Worth it if he does imo.
