It just feels like Rubio has never really made any improvement to shoot better, his mechanics have been pretty much the same since he got here, and it's just now that his team have decided to hire a shooting coach, which makes me wonder why they didn't do that in the first place.

Well it does look like it didnt but it did a little. We'll see now that he has a shooting coach if he keeps on improving.

Come on now, bringing up straight percentages without noting that Rubio actually took almost twice as much shots down there is a bit pointless don't you think?

And I don't remember their experience being mentioned when comparing their production/ability

This is why I asked whats the huge difference outside of steals and opportunity?  Kevin Love gets a lot of flack but players like Rubio are more of an issue when they were always scraping from the 8th seed.

A lot of times people talk about opportunity and sometimes they're correct to note how most ballers can do more with more chances. But maybe, just maybe they're not good enough to earn those chances over other guys who do have them. If you got enough talent 9 timed out of 10 you'll be able to show it

I think Rubio's busted. I hope Kevin Love self-destructs in Cleveland to the extent Rubio did in Minnesota. No real reason beyond pure spite at an organization as atrocious as the Cavs getting as lucky as they have.
