Damn. The feels are strong with this one.

He's so much more likable than Shaq though.

Ha!

Beats Kobe with the personality factor. Much respect to classy people.

Not that Kobe isn't a classy, but...

And I liked Shaq, humor is awesome too lol

Indeed he was a classy and nice guy. Maybe too nice. Much easier to like than Kobe, but maybe that's the reason why he fell off so hard. I'll never forget when he went super tough guy in the 2010 finals and called Kevin Garnett old and slow.

I miss you Pau. Kobe by himself next season is going to be so awkward.

"You watch anime?"

"Get away from me, pleb."

Definitely agree that "too nice" isn't something either.

He's got Nick Young :P his padawan and Randle, the kid that wouldn't leave him alone :)

It can't help but feel like Pau's been mishandled...by both the front office and Kobe.

If Kobe had taken a few million less (not even that much of a pay shave), they could've easily kept Pau.

On the other hand. Not sure Pau was worth keeping. Dude was HARD to watch at times last year.

I've been an ardent supporter of his from the moment he got here to the moment last season ended (though not without some frustrations during the tail end of his tenure with us). Thanks for the 2 championships and an amazing 4 years, and some not-so-amazing 3 more. I'll take the good with the bad though.

I wish him the best of luck, and hope he has a renaissance of sorts in Chicago. 6MOY? Probably not, but I'll definitely be following Chicago for Pau more than Rose & co.

Miss you already, you big, awesome Spaniard, you! We all know you're still a Laker at heart.

Good for Pau. LA fan base is a bunch of ass holes who never appreciated the skill set dude brought. Now those fans are gonna see how empty and in cohesive this team can actually be.
Good luck in the Windy City Pau.

No by the fanbase that kept starting all these trade rumors.

to be honest

people have hated alot on pau since 2011

me too

i also wasnt perfect

but i always loved his work off the court during this period

he loves the human

he helps the human

and he is a great guy

maybe he is soft

maybe he is sensitive

but he is just a good man with a good heart

he got us 2 championships and took us from a broken lakers team to a contender straight to the finals vs the celtics in 2008,2009 magic and 2010 again celtics

those were the days

for me he will always be remembered as one of the greatest lakers

THANK U PAU

I LOVE U

Nick Young would be that annoying friend to have. Fun to hang out with for an hour before you realize how stupid he is.
