With all the games Dwight Howard missed, Houston just couldn't lose. Smh.

A picks in low 20s was possible, now they are projected to finish anywhere between 27-30.

Ya let's not. I've seen him in person, listed at 6-2 but I swear he's maybe 6 foot

Maybe

Probably 5-11

Wright is a good player. A little frail on his frame, but smart, fearless and a great percentage scorer. I think he is rated as a 2nd rounder right now because of his slight frame. But his game says 1st round talent.

Here's another guy on the Majesty's School of Underrated Point Guards class ya'll should be looking at.

Senior, which means he likely goes in the 2nd round.   Even still

The kid's name is Jerian Grant, he plays for Notre Dame.  If you don't know the kid by now, you will when he gets to the league.

6-5 202 pounds Shoots 57% from the field and 37% from the three point line nearly 80% from the free throw line.

Averaging 19/3/6 and nearly 2 steals a game.

Get to know him.  He's the point guard you'd want to fall to the Lakers in the 2nd round.    He's underrated because he plays for Notre Dame, but he's one of the best point guards in this draft not getting attention.

He is another on the list of point guards I hope remain under the radar.   He's gotten better each year he's in college and he is crazy efficient, playmaker and scorer.   The kid is the absolute core of what you'd look for in a 2nd round steal.   But this is one I feel has "that" potential.. if he gets his chance on the right team.  A difference maker.  So we'll see.  Hopefully the Lakers have been paying attention.

So check some vids out, and you'll see why I am also high on him.

He is also former Laker Horace Grant's nephew.  So it's in the family.  Would love for the Lakers to pick him up.

Grant is no secret, he was a nationally known player. His Brother plays for Philly. Grant got into some trouble last season, and was suspended. But he has skills. But he is not a NBA level Athlete, unlike his Brother who is beyond a super Athlete. Grant reminds me of a slightly shorter version of UCLA's Kyle Anderson. He will get taken, but it will be in round 2. But that is not to suggest that Grant was not well known, he is.

Bill Self unleashed Kelly Oubre today.

Oubre had 23/10 on 60% shooting and 57% from three.

Exactly what I thought. He and okafor are by far the most offensively talented players in the draft

Okafor and oubre are who you go for if you need offense (which we do)

Towns, johnson, Winslow are who you go for if you want defense (which we do need as well)

I love oubres talent

What sucks is Bill Self being Bill Self said he still wasn't gonna start him

Bill Self on Kelly Oubre: "He wasn't going to start today; that was a gift from Brannen Greene."

Self may be a good coach but he's [expletive] when it comes to instilling confidence in a player, ask Wiggins.

Anyway Oubre proved today that he should be starting but we'll see if his outburst was just an outburst because he's mad he hasn't been starting or if ti was a flash in the pan and he's gonna start to struggle and if he does Self probably puts him back on the bench X_X

So we'll see what happens.   Offensively I think Oubre is the most gifted small forward.  Defensively I'd put Winslow and Johnson ahead of him.  But Oubre is a microwave.   The knock on him was that was a one trick pony that could score but didn't commit to much else.

We'll see if this inspired play remains because if he continues to have these 23/10 games he'll likely be going top 3.

Myles Turner is looking pretty good this season - 2nd in PER overall in the NCAA is quite impressive.

Also, Kelly Oubre seems to have re-emerged as a potential top 5 player with a solid performance against UCLA. Scored 23 points and grabbedn 10 rebounds. Had hoped he would fall all the way down to the Houston pick. :)

Rockets keep going down the ranks. Their next 3 games: vs Portland, @ Grizzlies, @ Spurs

Their pick (now ours) is currently at #24. It would be sweet if it were to go down to #20.

Top 5

#20

#30/35

#50/55

It'd be great to turn this [expletive] around.
