I like Hill a lot but giving him a no trade clause was a big mistake.

So we're really doing this? Starting Randle?
Why wouldn't we start Randle. With the exception of Embiid and Vonleh, i think the rest of the guys in the top 10 in this year's draft could start from day 1. Of course, ideally he's brougt off the bench behind a veteran starting caliber PF, but we dont have a lot of those guys - i.e. starting caliber veterans.

NTC for one year is a mistake?
Who'se to say he will exercise it , he may just get waived right after and become a FA and make more money on top of the 9 million he ultimately will make this season
Agents will ALWAYS take the money and only team that would trade for Hill would be contender( which he would likely want to play for) or tanking team( which would have zero problem in terms of a buy out)
Agents and GMs work in tandem
The NTC isnt a big deal
