Lin basically said himself today that he needs to be more consistent and dominate on a game to game basis instead of just being really up one game and really down another.
He also said to the media that they'd be singing a different tune if Kobe had made the shots he usually made or if he(Lin) had hit his free throws so that they need to learn to look at the game objectively instead of pointing at things.
Was nice to hear.
As I've said before, I'm going to wait til the All-Star break before making any final conclusions about Lin. Between the new coach, new players, Kobe, etc. it's going to take time for everyone to figure things out. If Lin is still inconsistent by mid-season and is still not asserting himself on a consistent basis, then I might start thinking that "he is what he is"...but my expectation is that he'll succeed...
