im predicting without bron in the miami. bosh will be go to player and wade will be 2nd best player. heat will be around 6-8 seed in the east

Bosh and Wade is good enough for home court in the east. Bosh will go back to a 20-10 guy, and if Wade remains healthy they should be able to get one of the top 4 seeds.

Wade cannot play anything close to a full season, may not even suit up for back to backs anymore.  He has to be saved for the POs.  So day to day they got Bosh and ... McSox?

The Miami Heat and Dwyane Wade are moving closer to a deal that will be worth approximately $60 million over four seasons.

The Heat renounced their rights to Udonis Haslem on Monday, which will setup paying him $2.7 million on the room mid-level exception.

Wade opted out of his deal this offseason for free agency.

4 Years is a long time, wow.

Obviously this is more of a loyalty thing but that sounds like a long time for him....

Just realized they have Deng too. That's a bad combo, 2 people who are always injured.

AP reporting Wade will take 2-year deal with 2nd year option with Heat, which would give him flexibility & possible raise next year.

Doing the same as LeBron.

Make it six. ESPN sources say Dwyane Wade has also secured a no-trade clause in his new deal with Miami

I guess they kinda owed it to him because he did the loyal thing and opted out.  But the original contract with 2 years left and $40+m on it was going to be an issue for the Heat anyway, no way Wade is earning that kinda money at this point in his career.  Part time older player, prime superstar money.

Kobe lost weight going into his 30s too, good move by both. Can't expect thier bodies to carry all of that unnatural weight forever.

Oliver Miller?

(perhaps too obscure a reference for the kids..)

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health, 2. High Draft Pick (Randle!) 3. Miracle Trade (Not yet), 4. Quality Free Agent (Boozer, kind of), 5. Brilliant Coaching Hire (Byron!...but the jury is out)
