I think he'll be a project this season, let him kind of learn when Farmar is out or Kendall is in a funk

I expect

Farmar to start, initially

He'll be better suited off the bench and as the closing pg

Kendall played good last year though so id rather have Kendall over Farmar. Id rather pair Kendall with Clarkson who lacks court vision up to now..

Overheard Mitch Kupchak's first phone conversation with Jordan Clarkson. MK: "Are you in shape? ... OK, good."

Lakers ended up spending $1.8 million to buy that second-round pick from Washington (46th overall), taking Missouri PG Jordan Clarkson.

He might start over Marshall just for the athleticism and Defensive upside.  He could become what we all hope Shannon could become one day. He's already ahead of the curve the passing skill is there.

Will he be better than Jordan?

I meant Farmar.

Not going to over-hype the guy, I'd be happy if he could contribute 20 minutes a night next season and provide some solid defense and control the game.

Not going to over-hype the guy.

You should, considering the Lakers seem to believe he's worth $2 million.

He is a Filipino-American. As far as I know. People from the PBA forums have been raving about him. He is a scorer more of a combo guard. He would be productive off the bench

Fair point, that's a lot of money for the 46th pick.

In his scouting report video it says one of his weaknesses is his on ball defense.

Was projected late 1st round in most mocks.  Real solid talent.  Jump shot is his issue but great ball handling...a steal at 46

Never heard of him. Is he good?

Farmar could be injury prone, but he will be back next year

This guy has a ton to prove before he can supplant farmar
