his game reminds me of monta ellis and he looks like him too ;)

That's a pretty good comparison. Hopefully he ends up being as good as Ellis. Monta is a stud now.

Lin's game is mostly attacking the basket.

I think no matter what happens this year, this kid is going to be fun to watch. This year is gonna be exciting regardless of the outcome at the end of the season.

If this guy even gets to Jeff Tegue level, let alone monta, you might as well say we're back already

Thats a VERY good trade piece...22 year old 16 ppg athletic combo guard

If he ends up nearly as close to those players you have mentioned, why would you even think about trading the guy in the first place? I mean, what kind of thinking is that? You found a gem at a 2nd round then he ends up being good then you make a decision to trade him. Wow its just wow.

Gilbert was legit before he started playing with his guns and had his knees break.

I have to disagree.

Gilbert couldn't play?

What is you ignant?

Seriously though, an opinion like this is indicative of the modern day sports fan.

Let's start with a guy like Kobe.

Is his game PERFECT? No. But people will critique him shooting 43% in a season.

Meaning he averages about 20 shots a game

So During a 5 game span...if he hits 2 more shots...he's at his career average of 45%

2 more shots in 5 games, when he could be heaving half court shots to beat the buzzer or getting fouled and refs missing those calls

Back to Agent Zero

This guy was putting up 30 with ease...carrying  a team to the playoffs year in and out ( for a few)

He was a Top 15-20 player in the best basketball league in the world for a couple of years.

JR Smith is a GOOD player

A Bad NBA player is someone like Chris Duhon his last season or Devin Ebanks.

Solid is someone like Wilson Chandler

Good is like Ariza

Very Good is like Kawhi Leonard

Great is like Durant

Guys like LeBron are All time

Jordan Clarkson to be signed before training camp

At this point in time, the Los Angeles Lakers have everyone on the team signed for next season with the exception of rookie point guard Jordan Clarkson.

Although Clarkson has yet to be officially signed, the team intends to get his rookie contract signed before training camp, according to Eric Pincus of the L.A. Times:

Rookie guard Jordan Clarkson (46th overall pick in the draft) is expected to sign before training camp.

The Missouri standout was acquired by the Lakers in the 2014 NBA draft with the 46th pick. The Washington Wizards originally had the pick and agreed to send it to Los Angeles in exchange for cash.

After drafting Julius Randle out of Kentucky with the seventh overall pick, the Lakers were intent on purchasing another pick. Clarkson was a steal at 46 with the team upgrading the point guard and power forward positions on the same night.

Recently, new head coach Byron Scott said that Clarkson will be considered a guard with the ability to play both positions in the backcourt. With that being said, the rookie could play some considerable minutes in his first year with the team.

As of right now, Jeremy Lin and Steve Nash are expected to be atop the depth chart at point guard. Clarkson could see more minutes at the point if Nash continues to deal with injury problems.

I guess people forgot most 2nd rounders usually get signed around that time.  Dunno why they were freaking about with how fast we'd sign Clarkson -_-

Wow.. I still cant see the best reason to get rid of him if he can be our future PG. anyway, theres no point of arguing over this coz its not happening anyway.

Hate preseason (paying for games anyway) but im miffed lakers dont play clips at least once

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health, 2. High Draft Pick!, 3. Miracle Trade (Not yet), 4. Quality Free Agent (Boozer, kind of), 5. Brilliant Coaching Hire (Byron!)
