I wanted Smart or Randle, had a slight preference for Smart because of our back-court needs but I can already tell I'm going to love having a hard-nosed double-double machine in Randle. If he can get some 3 point range as well, dude can be dominant.

29 year old Rondo (who btw was and is not as good as Utah Deron Williams) for Randle? [expletive] NO

I have to go here

Nets traded a package mainly centered around Derrick Favors for Deron William s at his absolute peak value

Disgruntled

Do you think he could land us a Rondo- type player?

Would you accept that?

Since the Lakers picked Randle, the starting guard positions need an overhaul.

Make a push for Lowry, pronto!

Welcome to L.A. Mr. Randle! During your tenure with the Lakers, us fans expect at least 1 championship banner within the next 3 years. Failure to do so, will get you shipped to Utah for Exum.

For those who may think he's not a great athlete:

He's not as elite athletically as Gordon and Wiggins, but he is by no means un-athletic

It feels weird having a Laker be in the discussion for rookie of the year.

One thing he is is a great athlete. He's a lot like Chris webber. Similar style, runs the floor, finishes well, good passer, decent shooter

He'll score 17ppg 10rpg 3apg as a rookie

Yeah, he got some Z-bo comparisons but Randle can actually get off the ground.

What does this mean for Pau? Randle has to play the 4, Pau would be at the 5. If we can spend on Deng/Ariza and Gortat rather than Melo, we'd be pretty interesting defensively.

There's actually many pgs out there we could pick up in round 2.
Russ smith from Louisville
Jordan clarkson from Missouri
And I believe deandre Kane from Iowa st is a sleeper.
We don't have a round 2 pick but maybe we can trade somehow and grab one of them???
