This was one of the most entertaining movies I've watched in years.

Those that have seen it, my 9 year old has seen the previews and wants to watch this. I'm hesitant to take her, she was moderately scared watching Jurassic Park one last summer, we haven't watched any of the sequels. Thoughts on how she would react at this one? Keep in mind she's 9 and I don't want to overly scare her, but I know she wants to see it.

Well I recommend you watching it before hand if you have the money to do so. But there are scenes that openly show people getting eaton as you would expect in a Dino movie and moderate blood shown

Yeah, if she has a thing for dinosaurs, maybe you should play it safe and just show her The Land Before Time classic.

yo.

I give the "movie" a C.  But I give the 3rd act a solid B+.

Saw it tonight, had so much fun and the entire ending sequence made me feel like I was 9.

Yes, the shoehorned story parts in the middle, was 'meh'. But the stuff with the Dinosaurs was very on point and I liked it.  3rd act was the best part however.

well, i went into the movie knowing it was made to be attractive to younger ones to the old... it had something very every age imo and it was just an entertaining film. I wasnt expecting it to be filled without cheesiness

Watched this last night & although I enjoyed it, I walked out like I did after seeing the Avengers. Almost like seeing the same thing over & over but with lil twist here & there.

I really enjoyed it, but I'm a little biased, 'cause I'm a huge dinosaur fan. I even wanted to be a paleontologist when I was a kid. Then I realised Bulgaria was underwater during the age of dinosaurs and there are no terrestrial dinosaur bones buried here. It broke my little heart back then :( This movie really brought back good memories. It wasn't a cheap ass remake, it was great !

It was a pretty good movie. The only big cliche thing was the radios and phones never working. So you guys have the technology to bridge gaps in the genome of extinct animals, but can't set up good enough antennas for wireless communication? lol

All I want for Christmas is a Laker girl :D
