Keep going elsewhere? Or is that the Lakers didn't want him. Derek Fisher would have not succeeded here as a head coach. He is getting paid 5 mill to be Phil Jackson puppet boy, I'll say that's a pretty good deal for him.

Whether you like Fish as coach or not, this is just another example of the Lakers intentionally snubbing their recent legacy. They didn't even give Fisher a sniff as coach or pretend to want him back in the fold. I feel like Buss is burning bridges and that's something his Dad didn't do with his guys.  Even when Jerry had to trade guys away or push people out, there was never animosity toward Jerry Buss and Laker loyalty remained high even after players were long gone. Nobody feels that way for lil' Jimmy and thats making the Lakers less and less attractive. That's why if Fisher had been given the choice of Lakers or Knicks for the same money, he would've chosen Knicks anyway.

lol what? So the Lakers should pretend to want people they don't want?

Your post makes zero sense. Then you end it by saying "If Fisher had been given the choice of Lakers or Knicks for the same money, he would've chosen Knicks anyway.". If that's the case, why waste your time going for him?

*Looks at join date and post count*. Am I feeding a troll?
